Murder Mystery Team Building |
Murder Mystery is an event for smart cookies. For between 9 and 40 "sleuths" Ideal as a lead-in to evening meal or to round-off an away day. A fun indoor/outdoor team building event lasting 2 to 3 hours.
Although the classic murder mystery party has been popular for ages, our Murder Mystery Event is different. We don't have actors grabbing the limelight but put the focus where it really should be (for team building anyway!) on your participants.
Following a briefing from your Event Coordinator, you quickly learn that you have been put into teams to solve an intriguing crime: The Crime of Past, Present & Future. Initially, teams race to gather as many clues as they can. The plot is complex. The more clues collected the greater the chance of seeing through a web of intrigue. Clues are won through a variety of means depending on the time available however a treasure hunt is a big favourite. This can be as active or as cerebral as you want.
On returning to base, your teams have a short period to unravel the clues gathered. One group focuses on events leading up to the crime (The Past); a second tells us about the crime itself (The Present); a third team uses their clues to predict what is likely to happen in the months to come (The Future).
Each group shoots a short video sketch showing us what they think happened. We provide a whole set of amusing props! So, in the course of the overall video, you will see the role of the main protagonist change three times all adding to the hilarity. The continuity is interesting to say the least! The video can be watched before or after your evening meal if you are taking one. For even more fun, we can give each participant a secret personal objective. He/she can advance their own position by trading with colleagues, buying something they desperately need, selling something illicit or blagging on the activities of other players.
The event ends with a viewing of The Past, Present & Future Video. Each person casts their vote for the team that most amusingly interpreted their part of the plot. Prizes are awarded…a great event all round
